Getting Behind Jeans for Genes!
Staff at SSR Planning got behind ‘Jeans for Genes Day’ by wearing their denims to the office and each donating a minimum of £2.00 to this valuable charity.
Jeans for Genes Day takes place on the first Friday each October and by wearing ‘jeans’ on this day it is a great reminder of the ‘genes’ that this fund raiser is raising money for. The charity aims to raise funding for the care and support of children and their families and also helps to fund research into the genes responsible for more than half of all childhood deaths in the UK.
2009 is the third year running SSR has supported the charity and is pleased to be able to help contribute to such a worthy cause. www.jeansforgenes.com
